CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — In response to the rising dengue cases in the community, the City Health Office of the City of Malolos conducted a dengue awareness campaign through a special segment on the program #DocOnAir, aired on Radyo Kapitolyo and Facebook Live.
The activity featured Ms. Daisy de Guzman, Sanitation Inspector III from the City Health Office, who shared practical and easy-to-follow measures to help families prevent dengue. She highlighted the importance of eliminating stagnant water in and around homes, covering water containers, cleaning gutters, and practicing regular search and destroy activities to remove mosquito breeding sites.
Ms. de Guzman also reminded residents to monitor for common dengue symptoms such as high fever, headache, joint and muscle pain, and to seek immediate medical consultation when needed.
The program aired on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, allowing Bulakenyos to access verified health information through both radio and online platforms.
The City Health Office emphasized that dengue prevention requires community cooperation. Through proper sanitation, awareness, and early action, Malolenyos can help protect their families and reduce the spread of dengue in the City of Malolos.
